Bath
Bath has been a popular city both as a place to live and to visit for many years. The Roman history associated with Bath is still very evident today and with the many fine Georgian buildings, it's easy to see why it is such an interesting city. There is a modern shopping area very close to the train station and enough sites to visit to keep the enthusiast occupied for a while!
North East Somerset
There are several popular towns in the greater Bath and North East Somerset area, including Keynsham, Midsomer Norton and Radstock. Although it is within the Wiltshire county boundary, Bradford on Avon is less than 10 miles from Bath. It has a strong connection with Bath and is popular with artists for it's many historic buildings.
Chew Valley
The Chew Valley is a beautiful scenic area with lakes, small villages and plenty of nature, yet less than 10 miles from Bristol. The Mendip Hills are a AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and you can enjoy some magnificent views from several vantage points. There are good schools in the area and popular villages include Chew Magna, East Harptree and Bishop Sutton.
